Got a 2010 Chevy Cobalt LT I'm trying to change transmission fluid on. Most of what I read there's supposed to be a red screw cap or hex screw to the right of the engine looking straight on and down where you fill but I'm not seeing either one. The best I can guess is some rubber looking seal in that area. Is that it or is that something else? If that's not it where about would it be? I know this can't be a head scratching job once I get started.

Hey I had that same problem. In the picture it should be to the right of that black concave thing below all those wires. It's not a hex bolt or anything like that, just a screw on cap. It will be on top right there. Send another picture if you still cant find it.

Think I found it. This little cap with what looks like some sort of sun looking symbol?

Found this diagram posted over on Bob is the Oil Guy. Looks like it is indeed that cap.
