Need to know if one could swap out there 4 lug hub for a 5 lug hub by way of simply removing the old one for the new one.

Simple answer: No

Detailed answer: No you cannot just swap hubs and have it work, you have to get different axles, hubs, brake rotors, ABS sensors, and I know I am forgetting some other pieces. All of this totalling more than $1k in parts alone.

Question: Why? What reason would you want to give up the most common 4 lug bolt pattern 4x100 for which there are 123,956,134,895,762,983 different wheels, for a 5x110 that has maybe 20 wheels available that fit and aren't custom drilled.

If you are thinking it is because 5 lugs are stronger than 4 lugs you'd just barely be right, the lugs on your car are more than strong enough to not snap on you.

We see this question almost weekly if not more often, I have yet to see a good argument for doing this.
