my radiator clips must have broken at some point and the plastic piece was sitting on part of the A/C line. The plastic against it must have melted a hole in the line. No idea how it happened. Has anyone ever experienced this? Also, does anyone know what this metal part is called and would I have to replace the whole line or is there a specific part that I could use to repair the line? I am also going to fix the radiator so it doesn’t happen again.
Here are some photos of the said part. It is in a hard to see area so I didn’t get pictures of the actual leaking spot. Just the part that was leaking.
