I'm about to order a cat back system to go with my new downpipe / magnaflow hi-flow cat...

What advantages does the stainless (T-304) offer over going with aluminized steel? IF it's only a cosmetic issue, I couldn't care less and I'll save myself some money ($330 for the stainless vs $255 for aluminized)... the exhaust is UNDER the car after all, and the muffler still has a stainless tip....

If it's somehow a performance issue, or a durability issue, I don't mind spending the extra money to get the stainless version. Both products come with the same warranty.

Help a noob out! TIA

Stainless will hold up longer, but if you don't care about how it looks get aluminized and prep then paint the whole thing sans the tip with high temp paint.
