Ok i just joined today because I have slung a rod in my 07 ss 2.4L. hole thru the block and all. soo what should i do now? im considering switching to turbo 2.0 but i need to know what extras i would need. also considered a crate motor. but i have NO idea what to look for in that dept. my ss was completely stock as i didn't want to void my factory warranty, annnnd exactly 3 months and 2,841 miles after it has expired, BOOM! time for a new one. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've got to get rolling again.

Drop in a used engine . A N/A SS does not cost much. And that motor is available and obtainable easy. Do not even try to drop a 2.0 turbo LNF in to. U need just about the whole 9 yards to do a swap. Like everything from frame work to suspensions. Its not a direct bolt on like a Honda. Or u can part out what u can and buy a real SS. They ain't that expensive anymore.
