Changed steering shaft on 08 Cobalt. horn and cruise no longer works.
steering wheel was clicking when turning and Airbag warning light came up.
I thought it was the bushing on the shaft at firewall that was clicking.
It must be something inside the housing behind the steering wheel that was clicking.
I checked all connections to the wheel they were good. no fuses or relays blown.
I tried to be gentle when removing the old steering shaft but I may have
hit it hard down below as it was difficult to take off (rusted)
The new steering shaft went in easy but was a b!+(# to get the rubber boot
into the oval hole to seal at firewall.
Has anyone had problems with horn and cruise in Cobalt?
