Never done the swap, but 05 2.2 to 06 2.2 should be a straight swap as they didn't change anything.

A few plugs are not the same and im not sure of this but the big silver rectangle with 2 big plugs only 1will work. It mayb the ecm or the computer. I really dont know. Also a plug on 2005 only has 4 wires in the plug and the 2006 has 12 wires

You sure both of those are the 2.2? Pictures of the connectors that don't fit?

Are you swapping ECUs as well? What are the part numbers printed on both?

As for the two purple connectors, pretty sure there's a couple connections back there that connect to those.

05 ls 2.2 swap to a 06 lt. I have the actual swap dun but the 06lt has a different plug in 2 different locations. Purple plugs on the left is a 2005 with 4 wires and on the right is a 2006 with about 12 wires. The aluminum boxes i dont know what they are called. But the 1 plug wont fit. The metal boxes are the ECUs, and that's also the reason you're having a problem here. How much exactly did you swap over? The entire engine and wiring harness? or just the motor and ecu?

This ecu is 05-06

This one is 07-10
