Hey everyone. Need some info on pulling motor and tranny out the top. I have an 06 ss/sc with 5sp manual. I don't have access to a hoist and would like to do this job myself. Just wanna know if it can be done and is it worth it?

Trying it out. People say it can be done. Came across some odd stuff. Between the rad and ac condenser there is another heat exchanger. It isn't connected to anything. Has a hose connected to one port and goes right back into the other port on the same h/e. Did someone bypass it? would my h/e for the super charger be aftermarket?

You don't have access to an engine hoist but you want to pull the engine out the top? How do you plan on doing that?

Haha. Yeah got some advice from a guy who can do this job in 4 hours. I need to change the front tranny seal and slave cylinder. Bought the car assuming the slave cylinder and clutch were recently replaced(according to seller). Found that the slave cylinder bolts were mangled. Must not have had the proper torx and tried to beat a flat blade into them... they failed by the looks of it! So I drilled them out got some bolts. Just need the stupid 5 dollar seal and I can put it back together.
