I recently bought an 08 coupe, and I love it. I wish I spent the little extra on an LT, but the LS is great anyway (after putting in a darn armrest).
I've owned beater cavaliers before, and never thought twice to take care of or learn anything about the car as they were totally A to B cars and nothing else for me. So this is the first car I've owned that I feel proud to drive and show off (so to speak).
I've done repair work on my cavaliers (like alternators, brake jobs, etc..), but I've not done it alone (I usually need a second hand to help at least). The only thing I've done on my own is change oil, but there you have to start somewhere, and I'm excited to see where I go from here.
I found the forum via google, it seems small, but cozy, vs some of the bigger forums or dedicated SS network. So I thought I'd join in the fun, I hope you don't mind noobs clogging you post counts....
