i would like to lower my cobalt, it is currently stock,
what are good springs to get?
how much inches is good for lowering it? so that i can still fit 18'' rims on it.

and does anyone have a step by step picture or video tutorial on how to do it all ?
it would be gladly appreciated.
thanks,

depends on how much you are willing to spend on it..just springs then get the sportlines with a 1.6" in front and 1.8" in back or 2" for all...if you have the cash(like $900) then go for come good coilovers..im not an expert on this since i still have yet to do it so i could be wrong..just trying to help

i had my car dropped roughly 3.5-4" all the way around on coilovers. possibly 4.5. but of course with coilovers, you can go as low as you want or as high as you want. but if you go with coilovers, i wouldnt go any lower than i did with out other supporting modifications to your suspension.

No prob, but I'm lowered on B&G's. But you will get about the same drop from Sportlines, B&G's, CM, etc., about 2".

B&G are actually a better drop, same in the front and a tad less in the back so the car rides with just a little bit of rake. Sportlines made my LT run reverse rake, pretty badly.
