hello im new here. i tried to install lowering Springs on my SS, and when i put the new spring on the strut, the spring could still wiggle around. Yes everything was lined up, tightened up as tight as i could make it. So i just said **** it and put the old ones back on. I heard some where that you can put them on like that and whenever the weight of the car gets on it it will be fine. that doesn't sound right to me. can someone help me?

I purchased a set of Megan Racing lowering springs for my 05 Cobalt and a brand new pair of quick struts to install them on. I am having the same issue with the Megan springs. This has slowed my progress down on the car I am working on. I have double and triple checked part numbers. They should all work together. I went the cheaper route and am kicking my self now. I am going to purchase the Eibach pro kit. Hopefully that will achieve what I want to do.
