Noise. Dont know where comming from

So ever since I bought my cobalt09 when ive been driving a while and i turn the engine off.. i get out and i hear a "tink tink tink" noise comming from under my car i guess... I asked the dealership guy and he said that its bc my car is hot and thats bc the metal is cooling off? i dont think he knows what im talking about. answers??

I was going to say the samething about Mazda. When i had the 06 6.
Anytime at idle like in a drive thru the connection between the manifold and downpipe would vibrate. Mazda's fix was to change the gasket.
That lasted about a month and the noise was back.
It was loud and and made the car sound like crap. It sounded like a belt sliping. But it was the 2 flanges on the exhaust rubbing.

with mazda its more about vibrations.


with the cobalt alot of people complained about the rear deck, get seperation between the rear 6x9's and the cardboard deck and the "noises" were alot less
