went to the 1/8th drag strip last Thursday(all we have here)... 1st time running the car, wish I would have taken it when it was stock to see what it ran then compared to now, mods in sig...
anyway, 1st run out I did bad, had no clue of what rpm to launch on the track or how aggressive to be with the clutch, so I basically just rolled out and ran a 9.38... the 2nd run, I was much more aggressive and finally able to break the 8s, went 8.80s... the 3rd run, I nailed the launch and the 1-2 shift, I knew it was going to be a run:
60 ft.: 2.20
1/8th mile e.t.: 8.564
1/8th mile mph: 87.210
my fourth and final run(before the rain), I ran a 8.60 so I was happy with the results, its actually faster than I thought I would go and I'm still on the stock continentals...
