Was recently told my struts were bad by a mechanic. He said that they were just hanging there, is it possible to know they are bad just by looking at them? I recently took our Cobalt to the garage cuz it was making a whining/siren kind of noise while driving. They said I had a bad right wheel bearing, bad right outer tie rod end and both struts were jus hanging there. Can that be possible with the struts?
