I have an 06 cobalt that the rad fan is not running. I have replaced the sensor on the air compressor and the coolant temp sensor and the thermostat( thought I may as well change that as I had to let coolant out to change the coolant sensor. The rad fan runs if you jump the relays or if you unplug the coolant temp sensor( the latter is what a mech at a garage that does air conditioning at told me to do to check fans and wiring) .He also told me to try it with the heater on defrost and it came on but once only. I changed the sensor on the air compressor because the fan was not starting and the air charge was at the low end of the normal range and I charged the air to the upper part of its range and the fan came on( one time only) so I figured the switch on the sensor was sticky. The fuses are all good in the fuse panel as are the relays. The car has 195000km on it and I thought it should have some life left in it but now I am beginning to wonder. I am not sure what to change next - possibly the heater controls or something - the heater blower motor works on all speeds. Has anyone had the same symptoms and found the solution as I am getting both tired and poor buying parts? Thanks .... John
