Looking for some ideas on subs to put in the trunk of my 2006 cobalt Lt. Was thinking 2 12s, but interested in what others have done.

I'm running the stock 10", planning to up it to a low profile Pioneer 10" and a better amp. I had a pair of 12" pioneers in a huge box in the last car, took up too much room.

That's a lot of woofer for such a small car. I was running 1000w RMS through a pair that wanted 1000w RMS each.

Not at all. Impedance rise will take a decent chunk of that and I'll probably see 2k or less to the pair. My original plan was a crescendo bc5500, but money isn't as forgiving lately.
