Door Problem

Have a 2006 cobalt LS 2 dr, the drivers door sometimes wont open when you pull the handle from the inside you got to kinda pull in on the door and pull handle at same time and it will open ,it opens from the outside but the outside handle is kinda loose feeling when you pull it to open the door what could be the problem any ideas?Thanks

The lock assembly needs lubricated. It's a known issue with these cars.

OK how do I go about doing that does the door panel need removed completely or what?

You've got to remove the door interior to get at everything, you basically want to lube everything that has to do with the latch and lock.
