I am a new owner of a 07 cobalt ls coupe w/ the 2.2l motor in it. I've know the original owner of the car very well (mom) & suddenly started getting the engine light coming on. The code was 301 cylinder 1 misfire. I reset the light the first time then it came on again w/ the same code. First thought was replace the plugs & boots but seemed unusual since she just hit 50k a week after I got her. I put oem uridium plugs in it & moved the coil packs around & after a tank of gas the engine light came back on. This time code 302 came on so I replaced that coil pack & a week later 302 came on again. Did some research & found I should be using @ least 93 Oct gas & that was my problem. Mom never put premium in her before &never had a engine light problem. Anyways I'm looking 4 suggestions if there's someone out there w any
