Hello,
I took my 05 Cobalt 2.2 into the shop the other day for some unrelated work. During my time there, I was advised that I needed to repair/replace the inner tie rod ends and sway bar links. They stated that both items were loose. I can say that there is a good deal of shaking felt in the steering wheel at all speeds up until reaching cruising speed (around 70mph), and definitely when I step on the brakes. My question is this: If I'm replacing the inner tie rod ends, should I just go ahead and replace the outer tie rod ends as well. Is there anything else that I should look at replacing that might be contributing to the shaking that I'm feeling in the steering wheel?
Thanks for your insight!
