Intermediate Steering Shaft

I've looked all over the forum and just can't seem to find a write up on the changing out the steering shaft. Does anyone know where I can find a good write up, preferably with some pictures? Any tips or tricks that you know of would also be a great help. Thanks

The steering shaft as in from steering wheel to rack and pinion? The steering column

Or something else?

Don't know that I've seen one for doing the steering shaft here. I hate referring people off site for how-tos but we don't have this one up.
