I am driving a 06 chevy cobalt with nothing more than h.i.d. lights and a system i just did a tune up on it and the car since then has randomly died on my twice. Need help its a friends car
No battery light, but the car is dying

Is the amp turning off when the car is off?

everything is shutting off but then coming right back on and the car starts right back up when i put it in nutrual
It's dying while running? Whats your battery voltage at normally?

yes while i'm driving down the road but i am not sure of the voltage i'm really hoping its just in need of a new battery

alternator going bad?
Sounds like an alternator to me.

what did the tune up consist of?

it was a simple tune up, just spark plugs, wires, air filter and oil change

b4 it does does all the juice go out of the car like does the lights dim.....radio go out or anything like that?

when you say plugs and wires ... do you mean spark plug wires?
if so ...
how much did they charge extra for the wires? ..
Here's the surest way to diagnose the problem:
Put everything back to stock, drive it around and see if it still has the issue.
If its good add 1 thing back (HIDs or stereo deck), keep doing that until the problem surfaces again and then remove the last thing you put on. If the problem is gone again you have found your problem part. Report back and let us know what it is.
