im going to do a sc build on the 2.2l, and also did alot of reaserch on the sts rear mounted turbo and i dont see any prob with mounting that on with the sc, besides certain spacific charged mods such as the cam shaft. I was wondering if i should go as far as getting a new crank, boring the block out and all that, or just upgrading the pistons. Would the 2.2l crank and pistons hold up to all that or should i upgrade? and as well as the vavle springs and all that?

looked at the list, makes sence. thanks, but nothing about the crank shaft, so im guessing that it should be fine then? cause if thats the case, then im done striping down the motor and i can now start getting parts and all that stuff.

you dont really need Cams for the power you get with a turbo, can get get a set of OEM cams and have them custom ground for turbo applications...more than likely you will have to find some turbo grind cams anyways. im not very familiar with cams tho

and i was probly going to go with the sc stage 2 for more being that most of my power will be coming from the sc. I will only be getting around 7 psi from the sts.

Well if your going to be sleeving and building the block your already going to be spending a good bit of money, you might as well upgrade it.

my crank is good up to 450whp. and if i want to upgrade past that, then ill be looking at dropping around a grand just for the crank. Im going to stick with the OEM crank.
