Check the how-to section. I think we have one there specifically for that.

very easy... just plug the HID harness into your headlight bulb connector and everything will go right

Ya but i ordered at High and low beam Kit and also it came with a relay harness so i had to run a power wire and ground wire , anyways i managed to get them in but i have a question? ? has anyone heard of having to remove there daytime running light fuse??? i dunno just one of the manuals i was reading said to do this?? Unfortunately my kit i ordered from DDM tuning did not come with instructions ??:emotions122: ill post pics soon

does anyone have more details on using Halo's as DRL (Daytime Running Lights) ?

I think i've read that there is a wire in the harness that i could cut and use.. but basically I want my Halos on for DRL and my HID's to come on if i flip the switch to lowbeams.

Thanks!

Depends on the year. If your normal running lights are markers you can just tap into those. Otherwise you'll need a voltage based relay setup.

I have a 2010.. my low beams would come on during the day.. right now i have the DRL fuse pulled.. so hopefully that will keep them from coming on during bright daylight hours.. from what i read. it appears there is also a feature called AutoLights, which would make them come on whenever its dark.. which is different than the DRL ..

Easiest way would be to hook them up to that DRL spot, fused of course.

what do you mean? I was thinking I read somewhere that the brown wire going to the headlights was the DRL wire.. I was thinking of running the Halo power wires to that wire..

can anyone confirm this about our wiring?

Thanks!

The brown wire is the markers IIRC.

You'll run a fused wire from the DRL spot on the fuse block to your halo wiring. Make sure you use the same size fuse.

This will make the halos come on with DRL, I'm not sure if they will turn off when the headlamps come up.

What is IIRC ?

So if I leave the DRL Fuse out, and run a fused wire to the fuse block, this will turn on my halo's during the day and will NOT turn my low beam HID's on?

Where does the wire go that comes out of the fuse box for the DRL? Would I not be able to cut that wire at the headlight harness and tap into that for the Halos? that way it uses the same fuse but would not turn on my headlights during the day?

If I Remember Correctly

If you run a fused wire to the halo power wire from the DRL spot that should accomplish what you want. It's reversible this way, I have no idea where the DRL wire goes after the fuse block.
