So i had to replaced my clutch and pressure plate in my 07 cobalt. The mechanic I was working with disconnected all the wires from each other, under the hood with the fuse box, and I need help figuring out how to connect them.back together correctly. That's the last step i have to do besides bleeding my clutch and adding transmission fluid.

What wires exactly do you need reconnected? Pictures help. Did your mechanic decide to just walk off the job?

I'll take pictures in the morning. He disconnected the wiring harnesses from each other and where ever else. And I wasn't with him when he did that part. And yes he cut his finger on another job last week and never showed back up. He only got the transmission back in place. I got all the rest done my self except under the hood and bleeding the clutch

Oh boy, he really did leave you with a mess. Woulda been nice if he had tagged all those connectors for you beforehand. I'm afraid troubleshooting this over the internet isn't going to be very fruitful as there's a lot of little things to miss. Know any cobalt people around there? Even having someone else's car to look at would be helpful.

Picture 1 an 2 looks like there is a connector that matches there but I couldn't tell you where that goes.

Picture 3 you are holding what looks like 2 ends of an o2 connector, the ones with 4 pins and a blue safety line on them.

The metal thing in your hand looks like the bleed point for the clutch, that needs to go back on the transmission. Also looks like it's missing the C clip that holds it onto the transmission nipple and the one that holds the clutch line.

Pic 1- one of them goes up at the top of the firewall. Plug is kinda hidden up there (took me an hour to find it when I had the issue) the other one should go to a connector on the right side and top area of motor. Maybe to the purple one in pic 2
Pic 2-
Pic 3- the blue ones I believe go to the back side of the motor and are for the o2 sensors.

Hope this helps a bit. Just going off memory. If I don't forget I will try and pop the hood on the car tomorrow

What's this bleed point called? I think the rubber seal on mine is leaking and I am looking for a part number or name.

Nevermind I found it. Had to buy the clutch pipe to get a new seal

Pretty easy to bleed the clutch, just make sure no fluid goes down into the bell housing, i used a plastic rubber tube to divert the fluid away
