side trim question...

does the side trim on the doors and the rear quarter panel just peel off with a heat gun and fishing line or is it screwed/bolted in at some part?

yes, let it sit facing the sun, than go and peel it off...

Rubbing alcohol along the top of the molding will also help loosen the strips.
Thats how i got them off on my old car.

A easy way to get it stated is to cut the tape with fishing line. Then you should be able to pull the trim.
That's how I did mine on my last car and others.
