to be the best on quart miles I trimmed some part from my hood dor more WR.

before i trimmed the side of my hood was ok no wobbling(on pic you can see that the side are still there)

but after that it like a parachute over 90km/hr and at 200km it give hard time

today I put pin hood to solve it

its not test yet

so I have been following this since you first posted about it. I have considered doing this although I have a cobalt and the hoods are a little different the concept is the same. How did you do it? Did you use some type of cutting wheel? Do you know how much weight it has removed? so you recommend hood pins if doing this mod? I reach speeds over 140-150MPH or 225-242kph do you think there would be any problems from the hood collapsing under the pressure of the down force at those speeds without the braces?

the hood wont collapse under the pressure of the down force at those speeds without.
the hood will drag more than not trimmed. it lost his structural and inflate.
i lost 0.4 sec on ¼.
