the reason those are so cheap is because they are cast alloy not forged.
basically not oem.
if i were you i'd just get your rims powdercoated

they do it same day it doesnt take that long. why not just paint them? mine are painted and they look tits. i've painted a bunch of other cobalts wheels as well including tc wheels and they came out great. i did a matte black with a light clear coat on t/c wheels they came out awesome.

get a deck of playing cards and put tire shine on the tire. shove the cards in the bead and wipe the tire off afterwards. works like a charm.

I need to do a little dremel work when the tire is off too sadly.

why's that? you can sand it down to an even finish with 200 grit with an orbital sander. that's what i do if I ever rash a wheel.
