I usually get about 28mpg on highway travel at 75mph.

On trips to my favorite golf course in the summer, I've gotten 40mpg. Top speed would be about 45mph.

My commute is 90% highway, 10% stop & go & city and since it got cold, avg dropped to 27.4 mpg.

I saw 30+ mpg in the warmer weather.

Hey guys! Just signed the papers and drove off the lot Saturday night with a victory red 2009 SS coupe. I fell in love with this car about a year ago and have been working the wife to find the right one. Now the dream is a reality! This car is bone stock and like new. I rolled the OD past 1,000 on the way home.

The info gauge quotes me 21.7 MPG and I've been driving it pretty hard the last two days.

The intent of this post seems to beg the question. How do the the various mods affect gas mileage? I'm interested to know. There's at least one site I've seen where someone claims that a mod gives a power AND a mileage advantage. Can anyone verify that?

Great to be in a community of like-minded people. This car is sweet, American as rock and roll and an extrememtly well-engineered to boot. Looking forward to getting to know the people around here.
