    many cf hoods are 3K cloth. I've seen Seibon hood in person.. i was not impressed. Too much chopped strand mat fiberglass. I doubt Seibon uses honeycomb (at least not aluminum) core... probably foam core which is very acceptable practice. For me to use core is no big deal... i'm familiar...
