Switching to LED
Pretty sure you do need the load resistors for the turn signals...otherwise they flash fast like you said thinking a bulb is out. -

So...my output shaft seals were leaking & CV Axles were in need of replacement... during the replacement of those parts...It appeared a good amount of transmission fluid had leaked out and there was an area on the skid plate that had transmission fluid on it. See I knew I would leave something out...Had suspension done...front and rear shocks/struts replaced...brakes have been done front and rear.... comin up again soon :( Timing Chain?? I didn't know....not sounding like a DIY Project for me tho...typical cost?- DJ-rb

So I have been driving my 2009 Cobalt now for quite a while...bought it used with about 35k Miles and just crossed over 119k and still drives the same... I must say it has been one of the best I have ever owned...However I realize this is not always the case I have seen a lot of stories about...- DJ-rb

need some speaker suggestions
I personally have Pioneer components in my front doors. I chose pioneer since it was the choice of GM on the Cobalts with the sound package and factory sub, seems like a great choice 1 year later. I do also have 2 Rockford Fosgate P2's in the trunk...but even when my amp had to go in for...- DJ-rb

2010 Cobalt LT Oil Change Frequency?
I realize how old this post is... but.. I was just going to say that I run 15,000 - 25,000 Drain intervals. Been doing this since 35,000 Miles, car runs like it still has 35,000 miles. I am using 100% Synthetic and a Filter that gets particles smaller than 10 microns... PM me if you are...- DJ-rb

Assuming you are talking to me...lol. It's for my Job we go out and unlock cars change tires on the interstates and jump start cars and delivery gas...so you never know where I may be parking my car...- DJ-rb

Hmm....I'm not sure about that.... The Factory Coolant is Orange...Transmission Fluid is Red...
Hmm....I'm not sure about that.... The Factory Coolant is Orange...Transmission Fluid is Red.... Brake Fluid starts out clear but turns into a honey color and gets more black with time.... Fuel would be a yellowish color.... but you would likely smell that with little trouble or confusion...im...- DJ-rb
