HELP...Stereo install, now theft deterrent light on.
are you using the Expensive 150$ harness or a cheap $20 one? If you have Keyless entry and all that, your most likely going to want the $120-150 GM harness. Otherwise u could lose all your door chimes, blinkers all that stuff, IF you have a base model cobalt , and just added Keyless entry then...- Mrslice2004

You want to stay away from chips, its basically a resistor *fixing* a problem that isnt even there.. best just to stick with actual upgrades like a CAI, Exhaust kit, and so forth.- Mrslice2004

Valve Chatter
i changed from reg oil to synthetic, Im using Mobil 1 and it works wonders! i believe a lot of the other guys on this forum use Synthetic also. Havent noticed any problems, Car idles and runs smoother with synthetic. No clue on the Actuator tho, havent had that problem yet.- Mrslice2004

need help with Headunit install
OK, so for those of us with stock base model 2005 Cobalts the Metra 70-2202 Harness does NOT connect to your wiring harness. I had to get the 70-2103 harness instead and hook up the red to my accessory in the ignition, But alas i now have a new headunit in mah car! next is subs! then ill get ya...- Mrslice2004

what oil is best?
just went in and got some mobil 1 synth, and was lookin at the filters, Are the cobalts really Cartridge Filters? i could have sworn i did an oil change on my car before and it was a reg filter.- Mrslice2004

what oil is best?
hey guys, i just ran out of dealership free oil changes lol, so im lookin to get some advice on what oil you guys recommend to put into my car? Hey LE5, you say your left door speaker only chimes? you might want to check the connections and make sure its not receiving interference, or also check your connection to the Headunit.
