Ended up getting out after a good amount of hammering. Took quite a while, was pretty rusted in there. Might get an impact hammer before I do the other one.

Had a similar problem with mine a while back but with different codes. Turned out to be the emissions air pump and valve that were bad. Replaceing those two solved it. However I never got the P0068 code. Are there any other codes you are/were getting?
I am replacing the hub assemblies on both front wheels of my 2007 cobalt ls. However the hub is stuck on to the knuckle really good as I expected. What is the best method for removing it?
I have a gear puller, but I am afraid of putting pressure on the axle. Can the axle or cv joints break...
