Is it bad to bounce off rev limiter?

I have a 05 cobalt, automatic. The rev limiter is 4grand (in park), and the redline is like 6800rpm (or something close to that), It does shift at redline, but in park(and neutral) rev limter is 4k. Is it bad to bounce off of that a few times once and a while?

not really.I hit the limiter everytime I shift(7200)(5-speed) just as long as you dont hold it there for ever,as for the park/nuetral limiter,you could hold it there all day and wont hurt anything.

so it wouldn't hurt holding it there for like a minute? like 4 grand bouncing off?
