    You lose all of the sounds your car makes, turn signals, gas, etc. Why go cheap, and cut up the factory stuff if you don't have to. Thats just me though

    Have never bottomed out, hit the biggest pothole in the world last friday and still did'nt bottom out, but it did explode my rim. Its a little bouncier ride though, but well worth it for the cool factor

    He reuses the casing I know, internals are all new. It shows him reusing the casings in all of his youtube videos. I emailed him, he said he has no problems building an alternator for anything, including cobalts. Don't know where u got your info from.
