im not on here alot. i have been wantin a truck for utilities but the way gas prices are i dont think that is gonna happen. i want to make my car look good but just like everyother college kid, i am poor. my car came with some aftermarket 15inch rims and i really dont know if they would look good with lowering springs. any suggestins? but more importantly, i am tired of my sluggish slowbalt. i have a 5sp and i just want some more get up and go but don't really know where to start. i have been reading alot but most mods are pricey. my main question is, what can i do for looks and performance for relatively cheap? like i said i just want some acceleration

intake and exhaust would get you a tid bit more. the lowering springs would make the tires sit better in the wheel well, may look funky with the 15's though i'm not sure.

Have never bottomed out, hit the biggest pothole in the world last friday and still did'nt bottom out, but it did explode my rim. Its a little bouncier ride though, but well worth it for the cool factor

Are those albino mustache bolt ons!? I've only heard rumors about them. I heard they are made out of african ivory.

my 17's look fine. as far as lowering it, i got some ssc lowering springs that dropped it about 1 1/2"-2" and it looks way better than sittin up. its a little stiffer but i also put koni yellows in at the same time and ride those a turn back from full stiff. it hugs the road a lot better and the only issue i've had is coming out of steep driveways with the front.
the price is going to depend on if you want just the springs, if you want springs and shocks, or coilovers. my koni's were 670 when i got em, and my springs were around 250. coilovers just combine the 2 all at once.

does anyone know how much ss/tc springs would lower it?

Less than an inch, not noticable at all, but the ride is better, more responsive
