Cabin Noise
I'm contemplating putting a layer of sound deadener under my carpet just to see for myself. if it helps, i'm thinking of puting some in the door panels too. & then maybe add some to the firewall & the fender well liners. also, when i got new tires, it made more difference than i anticipated...- bluebaltz

Lower control arm problem.....
i've borrowed the kit that oreilly's has for ball joints, and i've used harbor freight bj kits. both worked out alright for my truck. i'm sure it'll work for cobalt's bjs too. if you've got some random pipe laying around, you could build your own press with short sections & a c-clamp haha!- bluebaltz

Moisture in Headlight
i pulled mine out a while back & drained & dried it in the sun. i put some rtv over the top of the lens but it started leaking again a while after that. disable automatic A/C feature
i love the idea! i dislike the clutch popping in & out constantly in the winter lol i s'pose the potential prob is that the ac supposedly needs to cycle every now & then to keep the seals healthy & lubed up. i'd imagine it may loose a little bit of life if it goes six months every year...- bluebaltz

hmmm i guess if the new swaybar links snugged it up, then you could easily notice an alignment issue more than before. that's how one of my trucks is lol sucks that it still vibrates though. on the tires, i believe 225 is stock width on some cobalts. i stepped up from 195 width to 225 width...- bluebaltz

Mystery Steering Problem
lol even the mechanical & hydraulic ones used to be like that (in a roundabout way lol)... i've driven pitman arm equipment that required a pretty good 'bump' left or right to get the dang p/s valve to open up haha! and if you did it just right (or wrong) that valve would flutter haha! scary...- bluebaltz
