Engine swap
You may have Throttle body issues and if your speedo isn't working correctly your it will screw with the computer, you'll have poor acceleration and poor or no transmission shifts Remember you don't have a throttle cable. Everything is computer, and even the gauge display can screw up drive...- damondlt

Overheating! Help!
A cars thermostat doesn't open until 195. So it's not uncommon to see temp around 185-210. It really shouldn't go over 210, unless is over 100 degrees outside. And even then you shouldn't be more that 210. If you are going past 220, you better find out why. ---------- Post added at 11:37 AM...- damondlt

Yeah I let the dealer do it the way they want to . I know everyone thinks a Trans is good without service for years and 50 or 100k But that's BS. You really should do a transmission service once a year, or every 15-20k If you have 95k on it , and never changed it before, than do what the dealer...- damondlt

Listen to the dealer, if you have more than 80,000 on the car, and never changed the fluid, you could cause more damage than good. Butter to just have dealer drain the 6 quarts, and replace.- damondlt

Hi all, New Cobalt.
Hi guys I'm New here, I decided to buy a 2008 Chevy Cobalt LS xfe as my beater car. Has only 46000 miles on it. It's a 5 speed. I have a couple issues , not major I don't think, But under hard acceleration it seem to studder, or slightly surges, for lack of a better word. But seems to run...- damondlt
