Hi guys I'm New here, I decided to buy a 2008 Chevy Cobalt LS xfe as my beater car.
Has only 46000 miles on it. It's a 5 speed.

I have a couple issues , not major I don't think, But under hard acceleration it seem to studder, or slightly surges, for lack of a better word.
But seems to run smooth otherwise, and it's only slightly.
It doesn't buck or seem to miss fire. It just seems like hard acceleration isn't very smooth as it should be.

I've changes the Plugs, and new Air filter and even used a gas additive and seems no different.
Any thoughts?

Maybe an oil change will fix it. You've already done the obvious things.

You'll just need to pull it out, spray down with MAF cleaner, let it air dry, and put it back.

Okay, I thought about removing the throttle body, and cleaning , since it only has 4 bolts.
But you think that sensor is dirty?

It's possible, if it's got dirt or oil in it it won't see as much air and cause it to stumble.. I would do that before bothering with the TB.

If you do end up pulling the TB make sure you disconnect the battery before disconnecting the TB and make sure you don't move the blade by hand. Otherwise you risk TB correlation codes.
