06 2.2 block swap

I have the chance to buy a 08 2.2 block only. Will it work using the bottom end with my 06 head and auto tranny? 08 has the same tanny from what I see. I had heard on some engines the crank sensor is a issue.

It should work. Those are both the L61 engine. They do have different ECUs so you may need to move some sensors over.

Cool I have two options, 2008 block 40k miles or whole engine and a 2006 higher miles but head doesnt have a place for the check valve on my original motor.
