Hello everyone I am new here and have a couple questions about my 07 cobalt. First a little back history, wife bought in new in 2006 and had no problems with it until about 3 years ago when the loan was 3 months from being paid off. The timing chain went out and destroyed the valves.This was at roughly 93,000 miles A couple weeks later it did the same thing but without messing with the valves. Its been a good runner since that. It now has 130,000 miles on it and about a month ago it was making a weird noise checked the oil and was not registering on the dip stick. Just a few weeks after I had the oil changed and checked that it was full. Now it seems its burning oil and I have had to keep checking it and replacing it. There is no sign of a leak or it burning. I have no idea where it is going and know that noise is sticking around. Sounds like a clanging. Any help here would be appreciative.
