So I seriously screwed up while installing a new radio in my daughters car. I didn't realize they made an adapter which connects to the factory stereo harness and then turns those wires into after market colors.

So what did I do? I pulled all the wires out of the factory stereo adapter and then clipped the pins off the end. Needless to say, I can't figure out what factory wire gets spliced to what new wire. I can't even get basic power to the radio with Red and black wires patched.

I figured my best bet is to troll the junk yards and find one in tact and clip it off along with a few inches of wire and then just splice it back together unless someone on this forum has any better ideas....

metra makes the reverse plug but it has aftermarket colors... any competent stereo shop should be able to install that for u 71-2103 (reverse) 70-2103 (regular)

remember our cars dont have acc so if ur only using the wires from that harness it will never work
