2010 Camshaft Position Actuator electrical connection - how to remove

What are the steps to take to remove the electrical connection from a CPA ?

There is a tab in your picture. Just squeeze it and pull up on the connector.

Couple of followup Qs:

-I tried this but the tab hardly moves. Should I try using a pair of pliers on, however, little afraid of breaking the tab.
I tried pulling up but the connector will not pull off - ideas?

-How about the light grey clip - perhaps I need to pull it up first to release something???

I don't see a light grey clip in your photo. However if there is one and it looks like this it should be pulled up before pressing the tab to release.
