Hi,

Recently, my wife bought a Chevy Cobalt LT 2007. I checked the Carfax report and it has a small frontal collision. I'm a newbie with Chevy.

I found this:
1. "SERVICE AIR BAG" in the display in the driver's panel
2. Airbag red light in the driver's panel.
3. Passenger Airbag Off light in the passenger's panel.

My car mechanic dismounted carefully the airbags (with battery switched off) and they`re looking good.

How to solve 1?

I have an ELM327. I took it to be hooked up to see what codes it threw and there are no codes.

How to solve 2?
I'm not sure if the airbag sensors are still OK.
How can I check? Could somebody give me a link, a picture or an electric schema?

How to solve 3?

I think there is a critical problem with the airbag
system or the passenger sensing system, because sometimes is switched to ON for a few minutes.

I found the Passenger side retractor assembly wiring connector above the seat and its connected:

I appreciate any help to make the airbag system working again.

PD: All the fuses are OK.

I dismount the central panel because I'm replacing the radio with a radio/GPS/rear camera system. I found the connector of the heater/air conditioner console where the Air Passenger light is. I'm tracking the wires inside my car.
