Can someone please check for AC voltage across your battery with the car running and let me know what you get? I'm getting between 80-50 mv. I think this is indicating a bad diode in my alternator but I have also heard that up to 100 mv can be acceptable in some cars while most say 50mv or more is bad.

... Your getting 50-80 millivolts out of your battery? You should be seeing ~14.4 volts with it running and about 12 volts with it off.

50-80 millivolts AC. Checking for a bad diode that would explain the noise, all the wiring for my amps is good, I went as fast as to pull my head unit out of the dash and run my rca cables out the door, over the roof, back in the door to my amp and I still have it.
