Hey,
I have a 2010 chevy cobalt lt and lately my aux in port has been giving out and my fiancée said I need to change the radio out since the mechanic says the aux in is nearly impossible to fix. Is it hard to change out the radio? He would rather try it on our own then pay someone an arm and a leg to change it out. Would we be better off just paying someone to do it for me ?
Thanks!

It's easy to do, but you'll have to take it to the dealership to have them program it of you replace it with another stock head unit. Don't recall how much that was when I had it done.
