Left lites on .Had car battery jumped, car started just fine, now the following not functioning:
speedometer,power steering, will not shift out of 1st gear.

Check all your fuses. Might want to test your battery too.

Checked all fuses, all were ok. disconnected battery let set for 30 mins. connected battery, everything back to normal.

Ah yeah, that can sometimes resolve the issue. Batteries dying do odd things to vehicle computers. Glad you got it figured out.
