I have a 2007 2.2 ls cobalt. I recently asked Gabriel Ray from Comp Cams about cam grind XE252HR-11, part number 113200. I have 13xxxx miles on my cobalt and it runs like crap. I've also tried fixing it but the dang thing keeps running like crap. On top of that my cv axle on the driver side won't come out, so it's time for a rebuild on both transmission and engine. Since my intentions are to cam the ecotec with grind number XE252HR-11 I asked Gabriel about the reluctor wheel looking thing at the end of the intake camshaft that the cam sensor reads off of. For my cobalt there are no plans to make any intake cam because the cam position sensor is the hitch in the plan. Is there anything else I can do to mod my ecotec besides bolt-ons and a tune?

Building the motor to boost it is out of my budget.

I'll probably just do a cylinder head rebuild because that is where my problem lies.
