Corvette Project

Just taking a break from one of the current projects i'm working on, thought i'd share! Have had this 1980 Corvette (auto,standard 350 sbc) as a project for a while now, just did brakes all the way around, refreshed the suspension with new springs and replaced many bushings and bearings.

Next in line is paint, so this is what my prep job looks like "pre-stripping" heh. Just outlining the imperfections and deep gouges in the fiberglass that will show through if neglected during the wet sanding "post-stripping." lulz.

.. and just because... why the hell not lol.

Gotta have SOME fun with it. haha

Thats odd, theyre hosted from 6s tho. If you cant look at 6s at work then it makes sense lol.

Nice Vette Tom . My Dad has a 66 427 /435hp 4sp and an 06 LS2 6sp Vette. It's amazing how well the old vette's handle .... Most people would assume they would be straight line cars .....but they can do reasonably well in the twisties. The 66 has sidepipes and boy does it sound good . I could listen to that car all day long .

Process has been pushed back.. I should be stripping soon.. lol.

Been busy between full time school and work. I'll post up with pics when I start.. hopefully this week.
