so I'm still dying to get slammed. I don't care about performance. I just wanna be low and not bounce everywhere like i did on cut springs. So we've established that, now I'll go on with my idea. I am currently on ground force lowering springs. if I drop them another inch, I should tuck tire again.

re-drill in the green.

I have seen people dropping struts on coils and breaking cv boots. i have pretty nice axles so i'd hate to do that. opinions. I have the drill press ready to go. somebody stop me! tell me something I don't know!

Think your CV boot would rub on the strut, I know when I had my Koni inserts there was barely enough room to fit the wrench to tighten the lower bolt. Hell why not? If it starts showing wear just put the bolts back in the original position.

a little lack of steel for my taste. there is an inch of space leftover between the bottom of the strut and the cv boot. I marked the strut for 5/8" lower.

That was my other concern but couldnt remember how much metal was on that piece. Need be you could weld another piece in place of the stock bolt holes.

lol well if I get skinnier tires they'll fit. the holes are there for good. I'd get coils before that though.

Sure I suppose that would work, but then you might end up running into this problem if its to small

Cause I dont think theres much ur gonna be able to do without streching a tire

i'll stretch some tires way later on. right now my 215/45's are skinny enough. i just need coils to get low and then i'll start worrying about fitment.

lol you're always at it :p
at least you're thinking outside the box?
do it right though, don't get your wheels welded, drilled to make it sit like that or cut springs. thats something honda guys would do.
if you really want it low, save up some cash and get your car on bags or coilovers.
