cutting springs

i wanna slam my car but since in school lol and all the parts i just bought im broke as **** and want to slam my car couldnt i just cut my stock springs? i know its frownd apon but why?

You spent all that fucking money on a CF hood and trunk and you're going to cheap out on your suspension?

lol depend buddy is cuttin his springs on stang i wanna see how his rides than ill know i prob wont do it.....

haha and didnt spend it all got like 200 bucks i could buy springs just see it being free this way if the ride isnt that bad

haha know anyone selling some sportlines? lol i need gas money cant spend my full 200 unless someone buy my subs and shit this week

and some springs that give a 1-2 inch drop or whatever sporlines do isnt gonna "slam" your car anyways, might as well wait til you have the money and do it right.

A guy i used to work with cut his springs on his saturn and road fine but, the spring would slide off the mounts while driving. He would have to jack it up and push the springs back on the mounts after a day of driving it pain in the balls.

has anyone cut their springs on the Cobalt? I found out "LoBalt" cut hers.. but she said a friend did it so she doesn't know exactly.. I am on Sportlines right now but would like a little more of a drop.. can some explain how I should do it so that they don't slide off the mounts?
